Tom, I'd be inclined to think that if a tire was being repaired or replaced, the shop would pump the WWF in to a 55 gallon drum or two, and then re-use it in the new/repaired tire. I'd be mad at them if they dumped it and then charged me to replace it with new stuff.

Bingo, do you have supersteer? If so, even with the 4WD lever in the "disengaged" position, the front wheels will still kick in when the back ones spin. This is NH's "sensitrak" feature. The lever switches between full- time 4WD and part-time 4WD. There is a separate lever/handle that will completely disengage the front axle, making the tractor truly 2WD.

Tom, First let me say that I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable holiday. Then onto your question of joining the two different roofs: IMHO, I would think that other than the times when the two are in the same relative position as when built, the floating structure would either be lifting against or pulling down on the fixed (pole) roof. It would seem to me that the up and down motion would tend to separate the two, leading to a problem with water running under the top roof and into your new building.
Could you put them next to each other, and set the new roof so that the eaves run at a 90 degree angle to the old building? They could be built in close proximinty that way and eliminate the roof and drainage overlap problem.

That sounds a bit high. Tractor and loader [that's a 17LA :-), by the way] ought to be in 22K range, plus or minus a bit. That would put the mower at 3K or so !? I didn't buy a mower when I bought mine, so I can only give you an idea on the other 2 components. Work with your dealer a bit and see what happens. I have the 40D with SS, the 17LA and the hoe. It is a very solid machine, and I have been very pleased with it so far at approx. 150 hours. The loader is very impressive when coupled with this tractor. I have an F350-based dump truck, and it reaches well over the top of the bed, and nearly dumps over the far side. It will make short work of a tri-axle load of stone that needs spread, and scapes/digs very well, too. If you end up with one of these, I strongly recommend getting the teeth for the bucket. Tom, with regards to reinforcing the top edge of a bucket, I did that myself with the one on my previous tractor. It was a NH1620 w/ a 7308 FEL, and the original top edge of the bucket was nothing more than the sheet metal curled around into a squarish (don't know if that's a word or not) "C". It displayed a tendency to bow very early on, so I took plates of steel approx. 1/4"T X 3 1/2"W and welded them to the back of the "C". This created a steel channel for the top edge of the bucket and I never had any further trouble with it. It also gave me a good spot to weld a chain hook and two large bolts which I used to attach a removable homemade spill guard. I also had a tooth bar on the cutting edge of the bucket. The combination of these two things made for a much better setup than the original one. I should note that the bucket on my current 40D w/17LA FEL is much stronger, having been designed with a full roll of steel at the top edge that is approx. 2" in diameter. And it likewise has a tooth bar.

Tim and Steve, I haven't had any problem with my fuel cap (TC40D), but rather just wanted to note that the TC33 and TC40 are not set up the same as far as their fuel tanks. The TC33 is one of the mid-size Boomers and has its fuel tank under the hood. The TC40 is one of the large class of Boomers and has its tank mounted behind the operator's seat. I'm not sure, but I think the tanks/caps are of differing configurations. Don't know if that helps any or not. And at $38 a cap, I'm darn sure going to keep a close eye on mine!

Domenico, the 1520 is factory rated at 23 Gross Engine HP, 19.5 PTO HP. I owned its slightly bigger brother, a 1620 (27 HP) for 4 years. It had the 7308 FEL and the backhoe attachment. Had Turf tires on it. It was a GREAT little machine. It had 825 hours of use when I sold it to buy a TC40D with FEL and backhoe. (Darn near cried when I dropped it off to its new owner.) I did a lot of work with it, especially when we built a new house in 1998. Did my own driveway, sand mound, underground utilities, backfilling, french drain and landscaping. They are wonderful machines. Had no problems with it. Also mowed 6-7 acres with it regularly and made some money on the side. Don't be put off by claims that the hydrostatic trannies are unreliable. Just keep it serviced regularly. Also, if you need traction in the mud,etc., get a set of chains for all four tires. You'll be amazed. Good luck.
